World famous graffiti/tattoo artist Mike Giant is debuting a new project in November. He takes pictures of beautiful cholas and then hand-draws tats on the poster-size prints. My lady Kristafawn is one of his models. To get a gist of the final product, check out this special one he did as Krisi's gift to me for our anniversary, pictured above.

a giant bit o' awesome

so, today Krisi gave me my anniversary gift. Actually, she made me walk down Divisadero with my eyes closed and into a room that smelled like reggae sunsplash. When I opened my eyes, I was in Mike Giant's studio and there was a huge photo of Krisi on the wall which Mike had drawn upon, tattooing my lady with some ill sharpie tats of personal things, like my name and the date we met and the date we married and whatnot. I nearly cried. And then, tonight, I find that Mike had posted it on his Skulls Press blog. So, go to his site and gaze upon her true beauty and his amazing skills. Mike, I love you. Krisi, I love you a little bit more.
